During high school, she received awards for Music and a Merit Certificate for Outstanding Performance and Commitment to the Music Department in 1999. She has performed in the Performing Arts Festival for both singing and dancing at the Bunbury Eisteddfod, and received various awards such as 1st Places in Vocal Solo, Sacred Solo, Popular Solo, and Vocal Trio, 3rd Place in Traditional Folk Song, Highly Commended Popular Vocal and Vocal Solo/Duet in 2001.
In Nov ’05, Sierra has teamed up with Perth’s club MC, Rami Barz, formed ‘i-Duetz’ singing RnB music. ‘i-Duetz’ has performed as the opening act for “Jin” concert (American rapper) and an Indonesian pop artist “Kahitna” in ’06. She sung for the Malaysian ‘Merdeka Day’ at Perth Convention Centre and performed in many Indonesian festivals in Perth, Australia.
In Jan ’08, Sierra went back to Jakarta and featured on Tompi’s 3rd album (My Happy Life) singing a duet called ‘Love Letter’. Along the year, she collaborated with some great senior jazz musicians such as Idang Rasjidi on MEDCO GREEN ENERGY JAZZ Java tour in Aug ’08, Ireng Maulana on JUST JAZZ Festival Semarang in Oct ’08, and continued performing in many Jazz festivals such as The 10th Edition JAK JAZZ Festival ’08 and Semarang 1st JAMBORE JUST JAZZ Festival ’08 collaborated with Mus Mujiono.
Another great opportunities that she has done were at The 5th Edition JAVA JAZZ Festival ’09 when she performed under her own name ‘Sierra’ and also collaborated with KLA Returns duet with Katon Bagaskara singing some of their big hits such as “Rentang Asmara” and “Tentang Kita”, another JAVA JAZZ Festival 2010 with Jeffrey Tahalele and Oele Pattiselano, JIMBARAN JAZZ Semarang with Sandy Winarta quartet featuring a famous jazz pianist Bubi Chen, NEW FRIDAY JAZZ NIGHT at Pasar Seni Ancol with Pitoelas Big Band and many more. In Dec 2010, Sierra featured on KLA Project’s latest album (Exellentia) called “Kau Pulihkan Luka” and performed at their Exellentia’s Concerts.
In 2011, Sierra has done another JAVA JAZZ Festival collaborated with the legendary Bubi Chen ‘Plays Pop’. In June, Jakarta Jazz Society presented Sierra and Balawan, the greatest jazz guitarist from Bali collaborated together in JAZZ SEDUCTION. Several months later, she got her last chance to play with Bubi Chen at JAZZ TRAFFIC Surabaya before the legend passed away.
JAVA JAZZ Festival 2012 has also on her list. Sierra has her own stage, also featuring on several shows such as with Twilite Orchestra, Andi Wiriantono Quintet and collaborated with Idang Rasjidi, Sandy Winarta and Donny Sundjoyo in Memory of Bubi Chen. She then experiencing for the first time played outside Indonesia at WORLD YOUTH JAZZ FESTIVAL Putrajaya Malaysia together with Idang Rasjidi and the JazzComm All-Stars band. Also ASEAN JAZZ FESTIVAL in Batam collaborated with Dwiki Dharmawan, JAZZ TRAFFIC FESTIVAL in Semarang and Surabaya with Dwiki Dharmawan and Toninho Horta from Brazil.
Sierra has released her 1st Audiophile solo album ’Only One’ since Jan 2011, an easy listening songs such as Fallen, Especially For You, Leaving On a Jet Plane, Have I Told You Lately, Something, You, Save the Last Dance, Lately, Thank You Love and The Only One. She’s made her 1st video clip called ‘The Only One’.
End of 2012, her 2nd album self-titled ‘Sierra’ has released to the market. Another easy listening songs such as You’ve Got a Friend, Overjoyed, Rock with You, Cruisin’, My Only Love which was originally an Indonesian song called ‘Masih Ada’, and many more. One of the songs ‘More Than You Know’ is an original song written by her producer Andrew Darmoko co-write together with Sierra herself, also the music arrangement by Andi Rianto.
